This was my skin on a “good skin day”. Unfortunately I don’t have many photos of how bad my skin used to be (I avoided photos at all cost).
A year later, after countless of hours of research and trying every product on the market. I finally got educated and learned more about how skincare actually works, rather than buying products based on infomercials and product packaging.
I tried so many products..
This is a good example of how my shelves used to look. Although, I’d cycle out all products and replace them with new ones every few months after I realized nothing was working. The skincare aisle is really overwhelming, and it’s super frustrating when you’re spending hundreds of dollars and nothing works. The sad reality is, the majority of products sold over the counter don’t work, and are completely ineffective at helping acne. Sometimes, they only make it worse.
I got educated
I began to take skincare very serious after getting fed up with spending hundreds of dollars and nothing working. Proactiv was my last resort, and the only thing Proactiv did was make my acne worse, and dry out my skin.
In December of 2018 I launched SKINFAQ. The goal of SKINFAQ is to educate, inspire and help.
